Scarhoof’s Scribbles #011

He’s getting better gear now Master.

He is losing focus. We need to get back on the path.

What do you recommend?

Maybe it is time we send him a message, one he cannot ignore.

Dear August,

I woke up feeling kinda of funny today. It’s hard to explain the feeling, but it’s like something shifted around me. I’ll have to do some exploration to see if I can figure out what has changed. I will report back if and when I figure out what is going on.

That fishing farm I told you about last time? It is the *best*! I have gotten saddles, tons of fish, some strange components, and best of all, a better fishing rod! Can you believe the sorts of junk that are sitting in our oceans? I for one am happy that previous generations threw all their garbage in the ocean, so now I can fish it up!

But I keep getting experience doing this too! It’s so nice that I can finally get some decent pickaxes and get my mining done a bit faster. I will have to finish up with a new mine here shortly. I can’t wait to see how well this new pick works for me in the mines. Don’t worry, you will get a full report next time, I promise!

So I discovered a new thing to do with bones today. I found that if you put them together in a certain configuration in the Crafting Table, you can get yourself some Bone Blocks.
Now these blocks are pretty cool, if I do say so myself. They are nearly perfectly bone-white, but they have some interesting properties. For one they seem to allow light through, I’ll have to see what I can do about that, but most importantly, when I use them as flooring I don’t have to worry about monsters gnawing my face off anymore! It’s practically magical.

Back to the Grind,
-Scarhoof
